Too Much Money Is Not Happiness
I think if they have taken NZ$10 million (US$6.1million), they will go to Hong Kong for shopping. It is because Hong Kong is a paradise for shoppers. There are many beautiful things to buy as souvenirs. I think they will buy some T-shirts printed with their names. They will go to Hong Kong Disneyland to take photos. And one important place that they will go is Ocean Park. Because it is Hong Kong’s symbol, and there are so many beautiful and special animals, including white dolphins, pandas and sea lions.
I think they will live in Grand Hyatt Hotel, because they have so much money, they must live in the best and the most beautiful hotel to enjoy their lives, I mean a short and perfect life. And they will go to Stanley to enjoy the sunlight and the beach. There are many souvenirs of different cultures in Stanley.
After going to Stanley, I think they will go to Causeway Bay to shop. They will have ice-cream and buy some clothes, because that is Causeway Bay’s culture. When they have bought enough things, they will go to Macau to take photo stickers. After taking photos, I think they will go to the New Territories. It is because they will not just shop in Hong Kong. They might go to Yuen Long to enjoy the nature and take many photos.
But I don’t think they will be extremely happy in this trip because they know that money doesn’t belong to them. They have not reported it to the police and have hidden the truth -- this behaviour is dishonesty. Although they have done some dishonest behaviour, I think they will enjoy their trip in Hong Kong very much because Hong Kong is a good place to travel. It has many beautiful things that Hong Kong people don’t pay attention to. But I hope they can use the money they earn themselves. They will be happier that way. Hope they can enjoy this time, and don’t do it again. Whoever telling a lie should tell the bank the truth. Don’t tell lies anymore!

Trip to Japan - amended
Today was the first day of the summer holidays. My mother gave me some money to go to Japan. She wanted me to learn how live in another countries which was not like Hong Kong. My mother took me to a Japanese school. I learned some Japanese.
The day of going to Japan had come, I went to the airport and said, “See you mum, bye bye!”Then, I went to Japan by aeroplane.
After a few hours, I arrived at Japan. I went there with an interpreter, his Japanese was very good! So he could help me with many things in Japan and mother was very relieved.
My mother wanted me to do a few things. Firstly, take some photos in the entire place we went to. Secondly, not to have a hot spring for a long time because it was not good for health. Thirdly, eat Japanese sushi. Fourthly, don’t get lost. Finally, buy some souvenirs for her.
On the first day, I went to the jinja and learned some Japanese traditions. The jinja was a place for praying. It was not like Hong Kong, but it was the scariest. I had watched a Japanese TV drama which looked like this. Then, I took some photos of the jinja.
We then went to take a hot spring happily. Suddenly, I could not see where the interpreter was. I was very scared. I went to the dressing room and wore my coat. I ran out of the shop quickly. I saw him sitting in the chair because he was hurt. He went back to Hong Kong first.
Afterwards, I went to the Sushi Shop and ate the sushi happily, too. It was more delicious than the sushi made in Hong Kong. After the yummy dinner, I went back to the hotel. I was very full, so I could not run or walk quickly. Suddenly, a man stole my money. Although he was not running fastly, I could not chase him. Then I went to the hotel unhappily.
The next day was the last day in Japan, I used other money to buy some interesting models and food from Japan.

It is Mother’s Day today. I had a good one. My father, sister, Phyllis, Aunt Carmen and I designed a party at my grandmother’s home. Grandmother’s home is near my home. So we can go there more quickly. Last Sunday, we designed a Western-style food party. We followed a recipe to cook the food.
When I went to my grandmother’s house, I made the fruit salad. It had apples, eggs, bananas and salad dressing. I put it into the fridge. It was very yummy. I made it for about one hour. Then, I went to Jusco and bought some colour papers and a carnation.
Aunt Carmen provided the beverages. There were different kinds of English tea.
Afterwards, I used the colour papers to make a Mother’s Day card. After I went back home, I saw my sister working very hard on the mashed potato. I thought, “My sister wanted to make the best food for Mother! I was very happy!” And I saw my father made the spaghetti happily too.
Dinner time has come! Everyone went to the dining room and ate the fruit salad I made as the appetizer. Then, I ate the Spaghetti Bolognese made by my father and mashed potato made by my sister. For the main course, we had pork and beef. After then, we had banana pancakes with ice-cream happily. Finally, we drank different kinds of English tea provided by Aunt Carmen.
After we had dinner, we went back home quickly and gave the Mother’s Day card and carnation to my mother. She was very happy. We had a very happy Mother’s Day!

We were very unhappy and cried. We wanted to go back home, but the policemen said, “Sorry children, you can’t go back, because there were many fans. We only played the mobile phone’s game.
After one hour, we went back home and watch the TV news. The reporter report the news about a in the big tsunami in Japan broke many ships and boats in the sea. The reporter said, “The tsunami has come to Tokyo, Japan!”
I was very scared and looked out of the window, but it was nothing special, so I started to play on the computer. When we were playing happily, a man on the road said, “The tsunami has come! Run quickly!” And he ran away. When we looked out of the window again, I saw a big tsunami coming here! We ran out of the house. We could not use the lift because the power station was flooded, so we used the staircase. When we passed through the Chan Yin Road Park, we saw Jon said, “Everyone, we don’t need to run, there are not enough ships for everyone. We should help the old people go onto the ships! You only need to listened to my singing!”I was very touched. Although it was his birthday today, he let the old people go to the ship. I went to the airport because we needed to go back to Hong Kong today.
The marine security official wanted to help the victims. They used the helicopter to save the people. But the helicopter was not big enough, so the marine security, he jump into the sea after saving the people and he died. I was very sad. Why did he use his life to save the others?

Andrew Johnston is my best friend. But a student in my class did not like him. He always bullied him -- hit him, scolded him, made fun of him, so he was very unhappy. He always cried in class, so the bully disliked him more.
The bully had many bad friends. One day, when Andrew and I went to school together, the bully and his bad friends saw us and said, “Who is the best singer in our class? Andrew Johnston, but he is a girl!” I shouted angrily, “Someone is not good at singing. He is a bully and a bad student in our class!” The bully hit me and Andrew. When I get up, I see a lot of fishes, rabbits, lions, dogs, cats and ants flying in the sky and talking happily. Then, I went to England with my family during the summer holidays. I bought are beautiful clothes there, but I didn’t near to spend any money. Do you know why? Suddenly, a policeman came and said, “Your mother is finding you!” I quest, “But, my mother is a mainland Chinese and my father is a Hong Kong person, and I am a Hong Kong person too!” The policeman said, “You are THE PRINCE OF ENGLAND!” Then I knew the policeman thought I am the prince.

A sad wedding
28th December, 2008 cold and cloudy
Yesterday was a good and bad day for me. My cousin married his girlfriend, but the bride could not marry happily.
We were late to the wedding. But we could see them kiss, exchange rings and drink tea. Then, I played NDs for about one hour because my cousin wanted me to help her with the ‘Super Mario’ game. She was not good at it.
At 7pm, there was a lot of delicious food. There were crispy chicken, prawn and scallop, shark’s fin, fish, etc. My uncle drank a lot of wine and beer too. After we had dinner, we took photos with the bride and groom. When many relatives went back home, my cousin needed to get the bill. My uncle shouted at the manager, “This dinner wasn’t good, the fish was small and there were only two prawns for each table! No need to pay you $317,900!” And he swore at the manager. Suddenly, the groom’s mother shouted to the bride, “Why did you choose this place? You are not good!” So the bride cried.
Why did they need to quarrel? Why couldn’t the bride marry happily?

Once upon a time, there was a girl called Catherine. She was a bad girl and everyone disliked her, so she did not have any friends.
One day, when she went to school, she saw a blind woman crossing a road. Catherine kicked the woman and the woman was hurt. The blind woman was angry and shouted, “Do you know who I am?” “I think you are a blind idiot!” Catherine yelled. “I am a magician! I think you should have a taste of what it’s like to be blind!” the woman shouted again. Suddenly, Catherine could not see anything. “Help! Help! What is happening? I am very scared!” Catherine cried. She did not know where she was because she could not see anything. The magician said, "If there are other people liking you, you can see again!"
