My Last Minute Exam - amended

I was a computer expert, and a policeman too! My job was not hard work. I could solve internet cases quickly. I had many friends in my team, Ben and Tom. They were computer experts too. But their computer techniques were not as good as mine.

One morning, I got a case about Al-Qaeda’s video. Osama bin Laden was the leader of the terrorist group. He said he would use his life to bomb the White House. Before I heard about this news, I had read the newspaper article about Laden’s death. When I googled Laden, I found in his blog that he would kill George W. Bush.

One-third of my team went to Bush’s house. Another one-third went to the White House. Ben, Tom and I stayed at the police station. We needed to find Laden. It was very easy for me, but I needed to be quicker than Laden. Laden said he would bomb the White House and kill Bush at six o’clock in the evening.

When I went to get the GPS at the White House, I saw Obama and he gave it to me. He said, “You have done very well!” I went back to the police station quickly, and wanted to arrest Laden. Ben used the GPS to find Laden. Laden was in London and we thought he did not have enough time to go to the USA. So I went back home and watched TV. The news reporter said, “There was a bomb in USA’s Times Square. Twenty-five people died and sixty-eight hurt. Al-Qaeda said they did it, and they would send a member to kill Bush and bomb the White House.

I went back to the station quickly, and Ben and Tom were working there. I found that Al-Qaeda member and arrested him. I found him in front of the White House. He was dressed in a military uniform. I was very happy that I could help Obama. He gave me a big bonus and promoted our whole team. But I knew the video was not real, because the “Laden” wore a wig.

I was a sensible person of computer, and I was a policeman too! It was very relaxed to do my job. When it was some case about online, I could crack it quickly. Jenny, Ken, Peter, Sam, Candy and Alan were the front line of our team.

The Great Revolution of Hong Kong -amended

Hong Kong’s Chief Executive, Jacky, delivered the policy address today. The government would give one hundred dollars to everyone in Hong Kong, but everyone needed to pay higher taxes to the government. No one could own more than three properties, or there would be life imprisonment.

When all the citizens knew about this, they were furious. Ben was a university student, and his mother owned six flats. She was followed by the secret police and needed to pay heavy taxes. She was finding buyers to buy her flats. She could not enjoy her life. Ben was very sad, and wanted to fight against Jacky.

Ben used Facebook to find someone to fight against Jacky. There were many people joining his revolution. Everyone was very angry and dissatisfied with the policy address. Many rich men brought many weapons and waited for the army. Jacky wanted to use the army to suppress the rioters, and rioters tried to kill Jacky wih tear bombs or rubber bullets.

Ben was the leader of the revolution, and he was very brave. He told the rioters to drive their vehicles, like motorbikes, lorries and buses to surround the Government House. Jacky slipped out of his house. He was very scared he would die, so he fled to Japan and ordered the Hong Kong army to suppress the revolution.

Ben used tear bombs and rubber bullets and made the army withdraw. Ben became the new Chief Executive. He changed the policy, there would not be any limits on buying properties. He also gave five thousand dollars to each citizen. Hong Kong became peaceful again.

Hong Kong Big Revolution

Today was policy address’s publish, Hong Kong’s chief executive, Jacky, publish the policy address. In 2010, scientists from Germany and England invented a cloak that could make anything smaller than hair invisible. Now, scientist Wong Chun Yin from Hong Kong has invented an invisible cloak which could make people invisible. Many people wanted to get it. Alex the Pirate sent an e-mail to Mr. Wong, writes Maggie Wong.

Mr. Wong became famous now and he became the world’s richest man. His assistant, Jacky, became rich too, but he was not famous. He was very angry about it, and wanted to kill his boss, Mr. Wong, but Mr. Wong had many security guards and he had two bodyguards. So Jacky could only steal the invisible cloak. He was in fact Alex the pirate.

He was a thief and the police could not catch him. He was very friendly and kind, so he gave all the treasures he stole to the poor people. He was very quick and stole one hundred and fifty-two treasures in ten minutes. For example, Blue Sky Jewel from England in 1879 and bracelet from Egypt in 1387. He used a mask to hide his face. Although he was a thief, he was a very kind person.

He stole the invisible cloak, because he wanted to give it to Harry Potter's author, J.K. Rowling. She had got cancer and he wanted to fulfill her dream. He was going to steal the invisible cloak at Mr. Wong’s house.

Suddenly, Jacky knew who the man was-- he was the police chief. He was Mr. Wong’s brother, because he saw their photo in that room. He was very surprised and he left quickly. Jacky went to England and gave the invisible cloak to J.K. Rowling.

After two months, J.K. Rowling died and Jacky helped cover her with the invisible cloak. She chose cremation, and the invisible cloak never left J.K Rowling.
