Piano - amended

Once upon a time, there were two boys living in a village in Greece. They were twins. The older brother was called Pia, and the younger brother was called No. Pia was the bravest boy in the village, and he always went to the forest to explore. It was his favourite hobby. No was a timid boy, and he always stayed at home to invent musical instruments and waited for his older brother to cook for him.

One day, Pia went to the forest on Mount Olympic by himself. It was the first he went to that place and he was very happy. Suddenly, he heard the sound of a musical instrument. He was very interested. When he went closer, he saw a girl playing a harp. Pia loved the sound and he went to the mountain everyday.

The next day, Pia did not go back home. His younger brother was starving, but he did not know how to cook. Pia listened to the music, and he felt asleep. He got up the next afternoon. No was very hungry, and he went to the mountain to find his brother. He felt scared and shouted, “Pia, where are you? I am very hungry!”

.

Suddenly, the girl who played the harp went in front of him. No was very scared and he wanted to leave. No cried, “Pia, where are you? I am terrified!” Pia heard his younger brother crying and said, “No, I’m coming, don’t go away!” Pia went towards No’s voice but he could not find No. He kept finding for a night, but it was in vain.

Pia was miserable, and did not go to the mountain from then on. He stayed at home and waited for his brother to come back. The girl who played the harp was named Jenny, and she was a music goddess. She loved Pia, so she played the harp everyday to attract him. When No went to the forest, she was furious and did not want No to bring Pia back home. Jenny killed No that night. Before that, No whispered, “It is a new musical instrument, I made it at home yesterday! Pia like white and I like black!” Then, Jenny killed No.

Jenny was disappointed because Pia stayed at home, and did not leave home. Jenny felt guilty, and she named the new musical instrument “Piano”. Jenny played it everyday.

After a day, he got up in the afternoon. His brother was very hungry, and he went to the mountains to find his brother. He felt scared and shouted, “Pia brother, where are you? I am very hungry!”

Suddenly, the girl who played the guqin went in front of him. No was very scared and he wanted to leave there. No shouted loudly and cried, “Pia brother, where are? I am very scared!” Pia heard his younger brother was crying and he said, “No, I was coming, don’t go away!” When Pia went to the place where No was staying when he shouted, Pia did not see his brother.

Pia was very sad, and he did not go the mountains from then on. He stayed at home and waiting for his brother back. The girl who played the guqin called Jenny, and she was a music god. She loved Pia, so he played the guqin everyday. But that day, Pia’s brother came, and she was very angry and did not want No to bring Pia back home. Jenny killed No that night. Before Jenny killed No, No said, “It is a new guqin, I done it at home yesterday! Pia like white and I like black!” Then, Jenny killed No.

Jenny was very sad, because Pia stayed at home, and did not leave the home. Jenny felt sorry to Pia, and he gave a name to the new musical instruments, Piano. Jenny played it everyday.

Change in My Life - amended

I work everyday, and I have only got work in my life. I am a delivery man on Hong Kong Island. I like watching football matches and I watch the Premier League every weekend. My favourite football team is Manchester United. Rooney was my favourite football star. I am a part-time referee in the Hong Kong First Division Football League. It is my dream to be a World Cup referee.

One day, when I was very bored at work, our boss said we would have a new colleague that day, and he was a famous lawyer in Hong Kong. He was called Brandon. He went to our office and I needed to teach him how to deliver the documents to the destinations. I did not understand why a famous lawyer needed to work in our firm. My boss said, “Brandon is a famous lawyer in Hong Kong, and he is on a reality TV show, and he will work with us for a few days!”

Although he was famous, I did not know who he was. It was because I disliked watching television, and I only sleep and work every day. Brandon came to our office, and I taught him everything. He asked me, “How long have you worked here?” I answered, “I have worked here for three years.” He asked again, “Why don’t you have the target to get a better job?” I was excited, “I want to be a referee!” He did not understand, “Why not be a full-time referee?” I was a bit angry, “The Hong Kong government does not give us a lot of money to build sports ground, and they only care about the economy! I cannot be a full-time referee because my job only gives very little money, and I do not have enough money to live!” He was very surprised. I thought he did not have enough knowledge of the world.

We started to work, and I felt he was a lazy boy and he always complained during work. After work, he said to me that he felt it was more relaxing than making milk tea. I told him, “Hong Kong is a place with a big gap between the rich and the poor. Some people have an easy job, but some need to work hard!”

After a week, he left and he invited me to work at his chambers. I was very happy and worked there. Sometimes, he would watch the football match when I am the referee.

Change in My Life, Change,

Work everyday, and I only work in my life. I am a deliveryman in Hong Kong Island. I like watch football match and I watch premier league in every weekend. My favourite football team is Manchester United. Rooney was my favourite football star. I always go to be a referee in the Hong Kong Football Match. I want to be the World Football referee and it is my dream.

He asked me, “How long do you work here?” I answered him, “I work here for about three years.” He asked again, “Why do you not have a target to up?” I answered, “I want to be a referee!” He said, “Why do not to be a specialty referee?” I answered, “Hong Kong do not give us a lot of money to plan a sports grounds, and only plan money in Hong Kong economy! I can not be a specialty referee, because it has only little money for me, and do not have enough money to me to live!” After I said it, he was very surprised. I thought he do not have enough knowledge.

We started to work, and I felt he is a lazy boy and he always felt hard for working. After work, he said to me that he felt it was most relax than making milk tea, I only said to him, “Hong Kong is a place who is an extreme disparity between the rich and the poor place. Some people can work relaxed, but some need to work hard!”

After a week, he left and he invited me to work in his Law office. I was very happy and work there. Some time, he would watch the football match when I am the referee.

Cafe Owner - amended

I was a café owner in Tai Koo, and my business was not bad. Many customers chatted with me. I was the cafe owner and a waiter. I thought as an owner needed to know the customers what they liked and what their suggestions were, to make my café famous in Tai Koo.

There were four waiters in the cafe and two bartenders. They earned a high salary, so they were not angry about anything. They were all my best friends. Tom and Jack, the bartenders, were my classmates in university. Our English was better than that in other cafes. We had a lot of customers and we made a lot of money.

One day, a tourist went to our cafe and he saw a waiter being very polite. The tourist felt relaxed when we chatted with him. After a month, he brought many foreigners to our cafe, and they spent a lot of money on our desserts and coffee. Tom kept talking with a magazine owner, but Tom did not know who he was.

After a month, there were a lot of foreigners going to our café. One day, a foreigner left a magazine and I saw that there were a lot of pages about my café. I always eavesdropped on the customers, and I was very happy with my job at that time. Tom opened a new café in Tai Koo, and it was our new branch, and he was the café owner too.

When I eavesdropped on the customers, they said that they found a gun in a swimming pool. I was very worried and did not know what they would do. They might kill people or rob the bank near our café. I was very scared and called the police quickly. When the police had come, those customers did not escape. The police questioned them, and I knew they were off-duty policemen and they needed to get a gun from the swimming pool in the police station.

I was very surprised that my customers were policemen. Then, I got the “Best Restaurant Award” from a magazine in Hong Kong and my café became very famous in Hong Kong. Every day, there were office workers who are in a hurry, relaxed people, expatriates, HKCEE students before the exams and tourists coming to my café.

From then on, I did not need to be a waiter, but I still did it or else I would be bored. So I was a waiter and owner again.

I always eavesdropped the suggestion what did they talking, and I was very happy for my job at that time. Tom opened a new café in Tai Koo, and it was my branch store, and he was the café owner too.

When I eavesdropped the suggestion, the suggestion said that he got a gun in a swimming pool. I was very worried and did not know what they would do, as killed people or robed the bank near our café. I was very scared and called the police quickly. When the police was came, the suggestion did not run away. The police questioned them, and I knew they were the policemen and they needed to get a gun from the swimming pool in the police office.

I was very amazed, because my frequent was a policeman. Then, I got a prize called “The Best Restaurant Prize” and my café became very famous in Hong Kong. Every day, many suggestions, there were office workers who are in a hurry, relaxed people, expatriates, HKCEE students before the exams and tourists.

That time, I did not need to be a waiter, but it I did not, I would be bored. So I was a waiter and owner again.

Chinese New Year Resolutions - amended

Chinese New Year had come, all the red pockets went into my pockets. Yesterday, my family and I fired fire crackers to celebrate Chinese New Year. We were overjoyed and played many games at home. We played mahjong and poker, and my sister went karaoking. She was having fun too. We like Chinese New Year, and we like red pockets.

We had a lot of Chinese New Year delicacies, and carrot cakes were my favourite. Chinese New Year is not my favourite festival, my favourite is Christmas. Why? It is because you can have wishes for Christmas, but not Chinese New Year. I was very bored after a few days, because I had gotten all the red pockets, and I just eat and play every day. Chinese New Year was like an eating festival, and I dislike it.

On the tenth day of the Chinese New Year, I went to Ocean Park with my friends. There were many visitors. The new aquarium was very famous and we wanted to go inside. The staff said, “There are many people inside, only VIPs can go inside!” We were furious and went to ride the roller coaster. Suddenly, a “God of Wealth” gave me a red pocket and said, “It can make your dream come true!”

That day, I went back home and I wrote something on the red pocket. The next day, it was snowing in Hong Kong, and it was my wish. I went outside quickly and joined the snow war. My friends and I were very happy, but I wondered why it would snow in Hong Kong. Suddenly, the snow disappeared, and I got up. It was a dream, and it was not real! I was very depressed, but the red pocket was real.

The red pocket made my “dream” come true. The red pocket disappeared, and suddenly, I saw that it was snowing. I was amazed and ran outside quickly. Chinese New Year was not boring, and it made me happy. I went downstairs, and I saw someone throwing snow down.

I went to the rooftop quickly, and I saw a man throwing snow down from the rooftop. I did not understand why and I went in front of him to look at his face. He was the “God of Wealth”. I asked him, “Why did you do this?” He answered, “I am a god and my job is to make people happy! See you boy!” Then, he flew to the sky. Chinese New Year made my dream come true. My dream was, “Meet a god!”

I went to rooftop quickly, and I saw a man threw the things like snow down to the rooftop. I was very question and I went there and saw his face. He was the mammon. I asked to him, “Why do you do this thing?” The mammon answered, “I was a deity and my job is making people happy! See you boy!” Then, the mammon flew to the sky. Chinese New Year made my dream come true. My dream was, “See a deity!”

Jack and Chinese New Year Town - amended

“Jack, where are you going now?” the Mayor of Halloween Town asked. “I need to find something to make my village happy!” Jack said. Jack found his dog, Zero, before he went to the forest. Last year, Jack made his village fun. He went to Christmas Town. Now, he wanted to go to other doors.

“Zero, what is it?” Jack asked. He pointed at the door. It wrote, “Chinese New Year Town.” “Zero, let’s go inside!” Jack said. “Where are we now?” An animal secretly followed Jack, but Jack did not notice. “Oh, help! What is it?” Jack screamed. Zero barked, but the animal kept following Jack. Jack and Zero ran away quickly. After a few minutes, they did not see the animal anymore.

Jack and Zero heard a voice coming from the village. They ran there and suddenly a boy in red clothes appeared. “Hi man, where do you come from?” he asked Jack. “Oh, I come from Halloween Town! Why are you wearing red clothes?” Jack asked. “Oh, because there is an animal called New Year beast living in our village, and it always eats our food! I wear red clothes because the beast is scared of red.” The boy said. “Can you take me to your village?” Jack asked. “Ok, sir, my name is Ben and what’s your name?” Ben asked. “My name is Jack!” Jack answered.

“There are many villagers firing red things, what are those?” Jack asked. “Those are called fire crackers! We always played them when something makes us happy!” Ben said. “Ben, can I bring some back to my town?” Jack asked. “Sure!” Ben answered. Jack saw some people giving red pockets and asked Ben, “What are they doing?” “They are giving red pockets to the children. We have a lot of things to do during Chinese New Year, like having fireworks, playing the dancing lion, writing Chinese calligraphy and eating Chinese New Year cakes! If you want to make your town happy, you can do all these things!” Ben said. “Thank you Ben, Zero let’s go back to our town!” Jack said. Then, Jack and Zero went back to their town.

Jack thought, “Let’s write some “fai chun” in our town!” Jack told his villagers everything about Chinese New Year Town. Some were dancing lions, some were writing “fai chun”. Jack made his village fun and became happy now.

Jack and Chinese New Year Town

“Jack, where are you going now?” the Mayor of Halloween Town asked. “I need to found something to make me village happy!” Jack said. Jack found his dog, Zero before he went to the forest. Last year, Jack made his village, Halloween Town fun. Last year, Jack went to the Christmas Town. Now, he wanted to go to other door.

“Zero, what is it?” Jack asked. Jack powered to the door. It wrote “Chinese New Year Town” “Zero, let’s go inside the door!” Jack said. Jack and Zero went inside the door. “Where are we now?” A beast went after Jack, but Jack did not know. “Oh, help! What is it?” Jack shouted. Zero banked, but the beast did not stop went follow to Jack. Jack and Zero went quickly. After a few minutes, they did not see the beast anymore.

Jack and Zero listened a voice came from a village. Jack and Zero ran there quickly. “Hi man, where are you coming from?” a boy wore a red clothes asked to Jack. “Oh, I am coming from Halloween Town! Why do you wearing the red clothes?” Jack asked. “Oh, because there is beasts live in our village, and it always ate our food! I wear red clothes because it scared red.” The boy said. “Can you take me to visit your village?” Jack asked. “Ok sir, me name is Ben and who are you?” Ben asked. “My name is Jack!” Jack answered.

“There are many villagers’ fire red things, what are them?” Jack asked. “They are called Fire crackers! We always played it when something makes us happy!” Ben said. “Ben, can I bring some back to my town?” Jack asked. “Sure!” Ben answered. Jack saw some people gave the red pockets and asked to Ben, “What the people doing?” “They are giving the red pockets to the children. We have a lot of things to do in Chinese New Year, like playing Fireworks, join the dancing lion, write Chinese calligraphy and eat Chinese New Year cake! If you want to make your town happy, you can do all the things about Chinese New Year I say!” Ben said. “Thank you Ben, Zero lets back to our town!” Jack said. Then, Jack and Zero back to their town.

Jack thought, “Lets do some fai chun in our town!” Jack told all the things about Chinese New Year Town and he made funny to his village. Some were dancing lion, some were writing fai chun. Jack made his village fun and became happy now.

Ben walked over a pile of clothes on the floor. “Mum, what will we have for breakfast?” Ben asked her mum. “Eat the macaroni on the table and drink the milk!” Ben’s mother answered.

A rock was thrown at Ben outside the widow when he was having his breakfast. A boy called Jack and a girl called Jenny stood outside the house and shouted at Ben, “Ben, we are waiting for you!” Ben answered, “I know, Jack, I am coming!” Ben took a cup of milk and went outside quickly. “Where are we going today?” Jack asked. Jenny suggested, “We can go back to the outdoor area we went to yesterday!” Ben agreed, “Let’s go!”

Ben saw a squirrel running across the road and it escaped. “Ben, what is it?” Jack answered. “Our outdoor area is covered by a snowslide, how can we play?” “Why was there a snowslide?” Jenny asked. Ben said, “Be careful! There may be a snowslide coming at any time!” “Oh, I see, the mountain is so close to the outdoor area.” Ben said. “Let’s shovel the snow ourselves!” Jack found something in the snow and asked, “What is it?” Ben said, “Oh no, a tank!” Ben shivered when Jack found the tank.

“Is the tank real?” Ben asked. Jack said, “Yes, it is! There is a book near it, take it up!” Jenny took it up and said, “It is a manual of the tank!” “Jack, we can use the tank to remove the snow!” “It is a good idea!” They went inside the tank and they started to remove the snow. “Fire!” Jack said. Bomb! It was loud. Many children came there and they saw the tank.

A boy asked, “What is it?” Another boy said, “There are many weapons! I think they are real!” Jack said, “Let’s tell the president to spend some money to build a park for our village!” The squirrel cried when tank moved across the road because it thought the children would die when they went to the White House. There were many children joining the demonstration, and they were all under ten years old. Ben saw the watch and said, “We’ve walked for about an hour!” There was a sign which wrote, “Welcome to San Francisco”

Many policemen went to the White House. The police thought the tank was not real, but when a boy fired, the police was very scared. Jack, Ben and Jenny went outside the tank and shouted, “Let’s go inside the White House!” The president said, “You are very clever, there is a playing room on the second floor of the White House. You can go there to play with your frienda. We will build a park for your village!”

The children were happy and they had a park in their village after a month.

Children War?

In a snowing place, candlelight ignited. A child ran down to the dining room from the second floor. The boy straddled over the clothes in the wood flooring. “Mum, what’s breakfast today to eat?” the boy asked her mum. “Eat the macaroni on the table and drink the milk!” her mum answered.

A rock threw to the boy from the widow when the boy was having his breakfast. A boy outside the house shouted to the boy, “Ben we are waiting you!” Ben answered, “I know it Jack, I am coming!” Ben took a cup of milk and went outside quickly. “Where can we play today?” Jack asked. A girl said, “We can go to the land yesterday we play!” Ben said, “Jenny, let’s go!”

A squirrel across the road after Ben saw it. “Ben, what is it?” Jack answered. “The snow covered our land, how can we play?” “Why there is a snow slide?” Jenny asked. Ben said, “Be careful, I think the snow slide is come from the mountain!” “Oh, I see, the mountain is so close to the land.” Ben said. “Pull the snow out!” They pull and pull, and Jack found something and he said, “What is it?” Ben said, “Oh-no, a tank!” Ben shivered when Jack found the tank.

“Is the car real?” Ben answered. Jack said, “Yes, it is! There is a book, take it up!” Jenny took the book up and said, “It is a manual about the tank!” “Jack, we can use the car to pull the snow!” “It is a good idea!” They went inside the tank and the started to pull the snow. “Fire!” Jack said. Bomb, the voice was loudly. Many children came there and they saw the tank.

A child said, “What is it?” Other child said, “There are many weapons! I think it is real!” Jack said, “Let’s told to the president to plan some money to build a park for our village!” The tank across the road, the squirrel cried after it saw the tank across. There are many children enjoyed the war, and they all younger than ten years old. Ben saw the watch and said, “We walked about one hour!” There was an indicator board it wrote the “Welcome to San Francisco”

Many police come to the White House. The police thought the tank was not real, but after a boy fire, the police were very scared. Jack, Ben and Jenny went outside the tank and said, “We go inside the White House!” The president said, “You are very clever, there is a playing room in the second floor, you can go there to play and tell your friends to play. We will build a park for your village!”

.

The children were happy and they had a park in their village after a month.

Write a story that happened on a very cold day. Remember to use a film director's point-of-view.

Disguiser and Jack

Tom was a disguiser and he always helped the people in African. One day, an Africian went to his office, and he said, “Dr. Tom, could you helped me to be a star and made famous in the world ok?” Tom said, “Which star did you want to be?” The man said, “I want to MJ!” Tom shouted, “Why? He had died already!” The man said, “I was very poor and I want to be rich!” Tom asked, “What’s you name?” The man said, “Jack!”

After a few days, Jack went to the USA and he went to there by airplane and he started to find a record label. The supper star in the USA was all came from the record label, “Letter Star”, just like the Jesse McCartney, he was a famous star and he was very young in the USA. Many fans that were younger they liked his too. “West life”, was a famous band in the USA. Jack found a place to live and he worked in a restaurant and a fast food shop.

He had to work everyday, he wanted to join the “Little Star” tryout, but he did not have enough money to join it. One day, the disguiser, Tom went to the USA and he told to Jack, “There were twenty thousands for you, your friends and family were waiting your song and money to help them became rich!” Jack got the money and he sang songs everyday.

The day before the “Little Star” tryout, Tom helped Jack to face lift. Jack’s sound was the best singer in his village. Jack always sang after work, and he was very nervous when he was singing in the tryout. After he sang, he felt relieved and he was waiting the result. Jack saw his idol, Jesse McCartney, he was singing in the stage.

We panicked and rushed to Sam’s home. Sam was shocked after we told him what happened. He asked us, “What happened in your dream after you got here?” We kept thinking, but we could not recall anything. After a few days, I remembered that someone would be my girlfriend and then I woke up.

I was overjoyed that my dream had ended, but what about Johnny’s? Had his dream ended? When I bought newspaper near our hotel, there was news about the volcano we had been to. I was shocked that the volcano was the Japanese experiment for checking the temperature of the volcano. The monkey belonged to the Japanese laboratory, but what about my girlfriend? Would it come true? It confused and disappointed me.

After a month, a reporter called Cindy went to our studio and had an interview. She looked just like my girlfriend in my dream. After a month, Johnny went back to Hong Kong, but I didn’t. I had a girlfriend in Japan.

Unluckily, we had lost our owner. No, she threw us away. We dislike her now. Their leader was called Ben, and he was a famous toy there.
