I think if they have taken NZ$10 million (US$6.1million), they will go to Hong Kong for shopping. It is because Hong Kong is a paradise for shoppers. There are many beautiful things to buy as souvenirs. I think they will buy some T-shirts printed with their names. They will go to Hong Kong Disneyland to take photos. And one important place that they will go is Ocean Park. Because it is Hong Kong’s symbol, and there are so many beautiful and special animals, including white dolphins, pandas and sea lions.

I think they will live in Grand Hyatt Hotel, because they have so much money, they must live in the best and the most beautiful hotel to enjoy their lives, I mean a short and perfect life. And they will go to Stanley to enjoy the sunlight and the beach. There are many souvenirs of different cultures in Stanley.

After going to Stanley, I think they will go to Causeway Bay to shop. They will have ice-cream and buy some clothes, because that is Causeway Bay’s culture. When they have bought enough things, they will go to Macau to take photo stickers. After taking photos, I think they will go to the New Territories. It is because they will not just shop in Hong Kong. They might go to Yuen Long to enjoy the nature and take many photos.

But I don’t think they will be extremely happy in this trip because they know that money doesn’t belong to them. They have not reported it to the police and have hidden the truth -- this behaviour is dishonesty. Although they have done some dishonest behaviour, I think they will enjoy their trip in Hong Kong very much because Hong Kong is a good place to travel. It has many beautiful things that Hong Kong people don’t pay attention to. But I hope they can use the money they earn themselves. They will be happier that way. Hope they can enjoy this time, and don’t do it again. Whoever telling a lie should tell the bank the truth. Don’t tell lies anymore!

I think after the trip, they might got caught by the New Zealand police.

They might go to there and take many photos. But I don’t think they will extreme happy in this trip because they know those money isn’t belong them. And they don’t tell the police, hide the truth, this behave is not honesty. Although they do some not honest behave, I think they will very enjoy their trip in Hong Kong because Hong Kong is a good place to travel. And Hong Kong has many beautiful things that Hong Kong people won’t look out. And I think they can find it and enjoy it. But I hope they can use their money which was they gained, they must be happier to use bank’s money to travel here. Hope them can enjoy this time, and don’t do it again. Because to tell lie, whatever anyone, hope they will tell the bank the truth. Don’t tell lies anymore!

Trip to Japan - amended

Today was the first day of the summer holidays. My mother gave me some money to go to Japan. She wanted me to learn how live in another countries which was not like Hong Kong. My mother took me to a Japanese school. I learned some Japanese.

The day of going to Japan had come, I went to the airport and said, “See you mum, bye bye!”Then, I went to Japan by aeroplane.

After a few hours, I arrived at Japan. I went there with an interpreter, his Japanese was very good! So he could help me with many things in Japan and mother was very relieved.

My mother wanted me to do a few things. Firstly, take some photos in the entire place we went to. Secondly, not to have a hot spring for a long time because it was not good for health. Thirdly, eat Japanese sushi. Fourthly, don’t get lost. Finally, buy some souvenirs for her.

On the first day, I went to the jinja and learned some Japanese traditions. The jinja was a place for praying. It was not like Hong Kong, but it was the scariest. I had watched a Japanese TV drama which looked like this. Then, I took some photos of the jinja.

We then went to take a hot spring happily. Suddenly, I could not see where the interpreter was. I was very scared. I went to the dressing room and wore my coat. I ran out of the shop quickly. I saw him sitting in the chair because he was hurt. He went back to Hong Kong first.

Afterwards, I went to the Sushi Shop and ate the sushi happily, too. It was more delicious than the sushi made in Hong Kong. After the yummy dinner, I went back to the hotel. I was very full, so I could not run or walk quickly. Suddenly, a man stole my money. Although he was not running fastly, I could not chase him. Then I went to the hotel unhappily.

The next day was the last day in Japan, I used other money to buy some interesting models and food from Japan.

I had bought a lot, but I got lost. Luckily, there were so many taxis. I went to the airport and went back to Hong Kong happily.

Today was the first day of Sunny Holiday. My mother gave me some money to Japan and wanted me learn how could I do in another countries is not like Hong Kong. My mother took me to the Japanese school. I leaned some Japanese.

The day of went to Japan was come, I went to the airdrome and said, “See you mum, bye, bye!”Then, I went to Japan by aeroplane.

After I ate the yummy dinner, then I went back the hotel. I was very full, so I could not run or walk quickly. Suddenly, a man stole my money. Although it was not run fast, I could not run after him too. Then I went to the hotel unhappy.

Next day was the last day in Hong Kong, I used another money to bought my favourite and bought some interesting things and some food about Japan.

I bought so many things, but I lose. Lucky, a Taxi was so many and I went to the airdrome and went back Hong Kong happily.

Happy Mither's Day

It is Mother’s Day today. I had a good one. My father, sister, Phyllis, Aunt Carmen and I designed a party at my grandmother’s home. Grandmother’s home is near my home. So we can go there more quickly. Last Sunday, we designed a Western-style food party. We followed a recipe to cook the food.

When I went to my grandmother’s house, I made the fruit salad. It had apples, eggs, bananas and salad dressing. I put it into the fridge. It was very yummy. I made it for about one hour. Then, I went to Jusco and bought some colour papers and a carnation.

Aunt Carmen provided the beverages. There were different kinds of English tea.

Afterwards, I used the colour papers to make a Mother’s Day card. After I went back home, I saw my sister working very hard on the mashed potato. I thought, “My sister wanted to make the best food for Mother! I was very happy!” And I saw my father made the spaghetti happily too.

Dinner time has come! Everyone went to the dining room and ate the fruit salad I made as the appetizer. Then, I ate the Spaghetti Bolognese made by my father and mashed potato made by my sister. For the main course, we had pork and beef. After then, we had banana pancakes with ice-cream happily. Finally, we drank different kinds of English tea provided by Aunt Carmen.

After we had dinner, we went back home quickly and gave the Mother’s Day card and carnation to my mother. She was very happy. We had a very happy Mother’s Day!

I didn’t want to sleep, although it was very late. But soon I fell asleep. Although I was asleep, this day is always in my dreams.

Hi! My name is Alex! Today is mother’s day. I have a good mother’s day today. What is your mother’s today about? Do you want to learn my Mother’s day, Yes or No? Yes! Ok, I took you about this.

My father, sister, sister Yan (Phyllis), Sister Carmen and I design a Party in my grandmother’s home. Grandmother’s home is near my home. So we go there can be more quickly. Last Sunday, we design a Western-style food party. We have a menu to cook the food. I make the fruit salad of the antipasto in the menu. My sister made the potato pie for the first main dish. The next main dish is the minced pork with spaghetti (Spaghetti Bolognese) or the comp, tomato and mushroom with spaghetti. We could choose more than one. We can have pork and beef to eat with the spaghetti. Sister Carmen provides beverages. The beverages were the tea by English, France, United States of America, Portugal and many countries. Finally, the sweetmeat is the ice cake with banana. My happy mother day is this…

When I went to my grandmother house, and I made the fruit salad. It had too many apples, fewer eggs, some bananas and some salad sauce and put it in to the. It is very mummy. I made it about one hour. Then I went to Jusco and bought some color paper and a flower of carnation.

After I bought the carnation and color paper, I use the color paper to made a mother’s card. After I went back home, I saw my sister made the photo par very hard. I thought, “My sister wanted to make the most good food to mother! I was very happy!” And I saw my father made the spaghetti happy too.

They time of have dinner was come! Everyone went to the sitting room and ate the fruit salad first. Then, I ate the spaghetti Bolognese and photo par. After then, we ate the ice cake with the banana happily. Finally, we had drunk the tea of another country.

After we had the dinner, we when back home quickly. I went back home and gave the mother’s card and carnation quickly and my mother was very happy too. It had a very happy mother’s day!

It didn’t want to sleep, although it was very early, but I could not win the sleep. Although I was sleep, this day always to be my dream.

Tsunami and Me

I went to Japan with my best friends-Johnny. And we went there for two day

Today was pop star-Jon’s birthday. My friend-Johnny and I went to his Jon’s birthday party. The party was in Chan Yin Road Park. There were many fans, so we couldn’t see where Jon was. We were very unhappy and cried. We wanted to go back home, but the policemen said, “Sorry children, you can’t go back, because there were many fans. We only played the mobile phone’s game.

After one hour, we went back home and watch the TV news. The reporter report the news about a in the big tsunami in Japan broke many ships and boats in the sea. The reporter said, “The tsunami has come to Tokyo, Japan!”

I was very scared and looked out of the window, but it was nothing special, so I started to play on the computer. When we were playing happily, a man on the road said, “The tsunami has come! Run quickly!” And he ran away. When we looked out of the window again, I saw a big tsunami coming here! We ran out of the house. We could not use the lift because the power station was flooded, so we used the staircase. When we passed through the Chan Yin Road Park, we saw Jon said, “Everyone, we don’t need to run, there are not enough ships for everyone. We should help the old people go onto the ships! You only need to listened to my singing!”I was very touched. Although it was his birthday today, he let the old people go to the ship. I went to the airport because we needed to go back to Hong Kong today.

The marine security official wanted to help the victims. They used the helicopter to save the people. But the helicopter was not big enough, so the marine security, he jump into the sea after saving the people and he died. I was very sad. Why did he use his life to save the others?

Johnny said, “I need to take my mobile phone! You go to the airport first!” I went to the airport by bus. When we arrived, the driver did not go into the airport. He said, “I need to go back and help the people to the airport.”Then he drove the bus away. I was very unhappy I knew he would also lose his life. And I returned to Hong Kong quickly.

When I came back, I went to Johnny’s home to find him. But his mother said, “Johnny has not come back yet!” I cried because I thought my best friend was in Japan!

When I went to school in September, I saw Johnny. He said, “I went to Hong Kong by helicopter!”I was very happy and told everything in Japan to my friends in class. But I thought the driver and the marine security had died.

When we pass through the Chan Yin Road Park, we saw the super star said, “Everyone, we not need to run, the ship is not enough. We should help the old people go to the ship! You only need to listened to my song!”I was very moved although today was his birthday. I went to an airport because today, we needed to go back Hong Kong.

An Unhappy Birthday - amended by Phyllis

Today was my friend’s birthday. His name is Ben. He is in my class too. Today, he is twelve year old. His mother held a small birthday party for him.

He was born on 4th Apirl, 1997. Today is 4th Apirl, 2009. His birthday party was at his home. He invited Sam, Tom, Amy and me.

We ate a lot of food – chicken wings, apples, milk, soft drinks, and apple pie. They were healthy for us, so I ate a lot.

After we had lunch, Ben invited us to play a game. It was called “ground in the land”. I played happily, so did my friends.

After we played this game in the park, we went back to Ben’s home. But I had lost my gift. Ben thought I did not buy a gift for him, so we fought with each other.

At the end, I found that it was stupid to fight with each other. I called him and apologized, but he never answered. I have lost this friend forever.
